Industrial Buildings Can Now Receive YES-TR: A New Era Has Started in Green Transformation!

As of 2024, the way has officially been opened for obtaining YES-TR (Green Certificate Turkey) for industrial buildings and storage buildings in Turkey. Thanks to the new regulation published by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, industrial buildings such as factory buildings, logistics warehouses, and production facilities can now be included in the scope of green buildings.

What is YES-TR?

YES-TR is Türkiye's national green building certification system. It allows buildings to be evaluated according to criteria such as energy efficiency, water consumption, material use, waste management, and indoor quality. It can be applied to both new and existing buildings.

Additional classification advantage for contractors who complete YES-TR certified projects.

✅ How Does the Certification Process Work?

An agreement is made with an authorized YeS-TR expert.

The current status of the factory or warehouse building is evaluated.

Registration is made to the YES-TR platform.

Technical and document controls are carried out by the Turkish Environment Agency.

If the necessary scores are achieved, the YES-TR certificate is issued.
